GC 600 2017
Now running in its 27th year, the Supercars Gold Coast 600 is Queensland’s premier V8 Supercars event held on the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit! The Supercars Gold Coast 600 is the final Endurance race on the Supercars calendar.
The Supercars Gold Coast 600 is the only endurance race to feature two 300km races on consecutive days – rather than the 500km and 1000km races made famous by the Sandown 500 and the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.
Staged at one of the most picturesque locations in Australia, Surfers Paradise, Queensland, the Gold Coast 600 is always one of the favourite rounds for drivers and fans alike. The Surfers Paradise Street Circuit is a challenging 15-turn, 2.98km circuit that never fails to deliver on plenty of carnage and drama thanks to the circuit’s tight corners, narrow track and imposing concrete walls. Such is the unpredictable nature of the race, that there has been five different race winners in the last four times the event has been held!
